is a Lecturer in English at Satyawati College, University of Delhi. Her poetry collections are: Galat Pate Ki Chithi, Samay Ke Shahar Mein, Beejakxar, Anushtup, Kavita Mein Aurat, and Khurduri Hathelian. Fiction and Memoirs include: Pratinayak, Awantar Katha, Ek Tho Shahar Tha, Ek Tha Shakespeare, Ek The Charles Dickens, and Dus Dware Ka Peenjara. Her awards include: Rashtrabhasha Parishad Award for the Novel (1987), Bharatbhushan Award for Poetry (1996), Girija Mathur Samman (1998), Sahityakar Samman (1998), Parampara Samman (2001), Sahityasetu Samman (2004). She lives in New Delhi.
